Our government has long term commitment to the 12.5% corporate tax rate plus we have a 25% R&D tax credit and has just introduced a 6.25% knowledge box to further strengthen an excellent intellectual property regime. Ireland also has an extensive and growing Double Taxation Treaty network.

12.5% Tonnage tax regime

Registered vessels are assigned a notional profit based on its net tonnage, that profit is then taxed at the standard corporate tax rate of 12.5%.

Ireland is home to world-class companies and research centres in sectors such as ICT, life sciences, gaming, financial services and food and beverages.
