The Geo-Spark 200 is used for sub-seabed investigations where very deep sediment penetration is required or coarse/compacted sediments makes mapping difficult. The unit is towed behind the vessel, transmitting a powerful pulse of sound at very low frequencies (500 – 2000 Hz) into the seabed.
